I also needed a business to fit my flexible schedule. This business is exactly that. So we decided to take our family with the business on a 3 month trip to Australia and South East Asia. HI I'M MADENA, I am a 50+ Enthusiast who loves Personal Development!
My personal development journey started 25 years ago with Tony Robbins. After watching an Infomercial, I ordered the CD package Get the Edge so I could listen to it on my commute to my corporate job. I KNOW that was a life changing purchase!
Ever since I have been a student of Personal Development books, classes, courses and conferences. So much so that I started my non-profit, Casa Sana, in 2011 that uses personal development and self empowerment techniques to assist youth in Peru to escape the poverty cycle they were born into. As you can see personal development is intertwined throughout my whole life!
So when this opportunity presented itself, it was a full on YES!
I am a big picture person whose superpower is building amazing teams, this opportunity ticked off all the boxes for me!
And it allows time freedom and you can work from anywhere with your laptop and phone.

PREVIOUS CHAPTER: I was in banking/corporate real estate for most of my working career, until I learned that the salary ceiling is low unless you want to work 80 hours a week. That was not for me! My personal and family time is too important to give it to a corporation.
SECOND CHAPTER: So I quit and started my own business and learned a LOT. What I learned:
- 1) Owning your own business is very satisfying, rewarding and the best way to learn about yourself.
- 2) It is best to work in an arena that you are passionate about.
- 3) Be KIND and patient with yourself!
MY NEXT CHAPTER - WELCOME TO ONLINE BUSINESS: We no longer have to commute, clock in or clock out. Online and remote work capabilities have opened up a new way of living! I have been working online for the last 3 years and can't see myself ever going back to the corporate life, clocking in and clocking out.
The time flexibility and remote possibilities are life changing. In the past few years I have had a few family emergencies that I was able to drop everything and be there when needed, for as long as I was needed. That is priceless!
